TEEF has no known contraindications and contains no preservatives, fillers or sugars. Some of the first signs are that the dogs breath becomes less odourous, it helps balance that microbiome for overall improved gum health.
Canine Dental Prebiotic
Background : Dr Emily Stein is a microbiologist & immunologist with expertise in infection and inflammatory diseases. Her rescue dog had severe periodontal disease and when she looked around at products currently on the market they were chemical-based. They did not address balancing out the bacteria in the mouth, they just indiscriminately killed all bacteria. So she set about with her skill set to look at the bacteria in the mouth and what she could do about it. Dr. Stien genome sequenced 165 dogs from young to old and found a heavy skew to pathogenic or harmful bacteria. So she has developed a very safe water additive called Teef, it is simple to use and helps to balance out the bacteria in the mouth.
Cats : It is safe for cats so if you have multi pet household it is fine for the cat to drink it and the reports are Some customers are even telling us that it seems to be helping. However, because cats have a different diet, behaviors, and oral microbiome than dogs, our formula for dogs won’t be as effective on them. Our R&D team is working on a feline-specific formula and will be released later in 2021.
How does it work : It is a odourless powdered water-soluble additive that surpasses harmful bacteria by blocking the growth and then selectively promotes beneficial bacterial which balances the microbiome of the entire oral cavity.
Tips : Over 3 days I measured how much water my dog was drinking,I then placed 1 spoon of Teef into that amount of drinking water into a bottle and placed it in the fridge as it lasts three days this way. For a multi-dog household you can makeup to 2 litres and also place this into the fridge and top up the bowls around the house daily.

Small dogs drink less normally so you can make it up into a small amount with the same size scoop. The jar can make up to 60 litres of water but depends on how much water is being consumed daily.
